This game has been living in my head for years. Part of it comes from being a fan of Summertime Saga. I played a lot of it, and I still admire what it tried to do: a town full of characters, secrets, routines and erotic storylines that do not exist only as isolated scenes. But I also had the normal reaction of a writer/player: some storylines worked very well for me, and others made me think "I would have done this differently."
One storyline that stayed with me was Eve's. Depending on the player's decisions, Eve can be a cis woman or a trans woman, and I thought that was a very smart and very sensual choice. Both versions of the character work for me. More than that, they opened a door in my head. I want Albedrío Vista to have space for that kind of possibility too: characters whose intimacy, identity and relationships can carry different versions of desire without becoming a cheap checkbox.
Another part of the game comes from something more personal: I do not get excited easily by images alone.
I need story. I need context. I need a situation that feels believable, something that could happen in real life if the right people, the right place and the right mood existed. That is why I rarely watch porn. It can take me hours to find a video that actually works for me, and most of the time the setup feels too fake or too direct.
So I write.
I have a lot of short erotic stories and situations. Some were written completely by hand. Some were written with help from AI. Most of them are not about impossible fantasies or huge dramatic plots. They are about realistic tension: someone noticing something they should not notice, a conversation that changes tone, a neighbor who becomes too familiar, a secret routine, a friendship that starts to feel dangerous.
It is a little ironic to complain about spending hours searching for the right porn video and then spend hours writing an erotic story instead. But there is a difference. When I am writing the story, I am already inside the fantasy. I am already excited. Many times I do not even finish the story after reaching the climax, because the emotional purpose of the scene already happened for me.
Albedrío Vista is a place where those stories can live.
Not as disconnected text. Not as a gallery of scenes. I want them to exist inside a town where people have homes, jobs, routines, relationships, habits and secrets. The sensual part works better for me when it feels like it belongs to a life that was already happening before the player arrived.
The last reason is more about games themselves.
I am fascinated by games that let you explore freely. I like the feeling that if I can see a place, I can try to go there. That is one of the reasons Albedrío Vista is 3D. I want the player to walk through the streets, watch the time pass, see the sun move, see the night arrive, and feel that the world keeps breathing even when no quest marker is telling them what to do.
That freedom is important for the adult side too. The idea of climbing a tree at night and noticing what is happening through a neighbor's window before bedtime is exactly the kind of thing I want this game to allow. Not because the game is only about voyeurism, but because a living neighborhood creates chances for discovery, temptation and bad decisions.
That is the shape of Albedrío Vista for me: a place where erotic stories are not just rewards, but consequences of being present in the world.
I am making this game because I want to play it. I want a life sim with adult stories that feel slow, grounded, sensual and a little dangerous. I want a town where characters are not only bodies, but people with context. And I want the player to feel that the most interesting things happen when they stop following instructions and start paying attention.
